Calling all Volunteers!

 

We are looking for a few good folks to volunteer in our tent at the Right Whale Festival at Main Beach Park November 1-2, 2026, with setup on October 31.

 

This event is RAIN OR SHINE.

The official Festival hours are: 

Saturday, November 1, 10am to 6pm

Movie in the Park - Saturday: 7pm-9pm (Tent exhibits are not open)
Sunday, November 2, 10am to 3pm

Responsibilities including educating festival goers about Fernandina Wins, No Ethanol Fernandina, and our ongoing civic actions to uphold our Comp Plan and fight against industrial chemical manufacturing in Fernandina Beach. We will provide all the materials for the tent display including handouts and stickers for kids!
Morning shifts include a small bit of extra time before the festival opens to set up materials for the day.

You are encouraged to bring in a beach chair to sit on during your volunteer shift. We also recommend sunscreen and a refillable water bottle - the festival provides a water refill station, and some snacks. 

Optional suggestions include extra cash for sale items including food and beverages.

Please note - there is very little public parking in the area during the festival, especially if you are on a later shift. Please plan accordingly.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Daylight saving time comes to an end on Sunday, November 2 - be sure to set your clocks back Saturday night.
