Why is there a complete denial and disregard of the City of Fernandina Beach’s

Comprehensive Plan, prohibiting chemical manufacturing and refining, in the letters   printed in The Yulee News, posted on Social Media Platforms and otherwise shouted at us through so many means. The Comprehensive Plan specifically states:

g.       Heavy  metal  fabrication, batch  plants, salvage  yards,

chemical petroleum manufacturing or refining, rubber

or plastics  manufacturing, or other uses generating potentially

harmful environmental or nuisance impacts shall be

          prohibited.

IT COULD NOT BE MORE CLEAR.

No Ethanol Fernandina's Board of Director's Answer.

RYAM and its paid consultants, paid lobbyists, paid supporters and even those

unpaid supporters, want to convince the residents of Fernandina Beach that they can out spend, out lobby and out influence you and will eventually overrun the City of Fernandina Beach either in the Florida Legislature or the State or Federal court and be allowed to build their chemical manufacturing and refining facility in the City despite the residents opposition and express desire that no such facility is

built in the City.
